SERSI Village deatils -  Exactly! Sersi is indeed a key location in the Rudraprayag district of Uttarakhand, especially for pilgrims heading to Kedarnath. Its helipad makes it a convenient hub for helicopter services, offering a comfortable and time-saving option for the Kedarnath yatra. 

Passenger Instructions:

• Report at Sersi Heli-Base by 06:00 HRS.
• In case of delays due to NOTAM, delayed clearances, bad weather, etc., passengers will be informed in advance to report according to the revised timings.

Sersi Heli-Base:

• Sersi is Himalayan Heli’s third, and the oldest, heli-base in the Chardham sector.
• Shuttle services for Kedarnath Ji shrine are operated from here.
• Passengers may be ferried in different shuttle service flights due to the maximum weight-carrying capacity of the aircraft at high-altitude destinations like Kedarnath.
• To catch the shuttle helicopter from Sersi/Kedarnath, passengers may have to wait according to the operator's flying schedule issued by UCADA for the respective date.

Darshan Details:

• Approximate time taken for Kedarnath Temple darshan: 2 hours.
• The shuttle service flight from Sersi to Kedarnath is approximately 7 minutes long.
• After darshan, passengers will return to Sersi for breakfast.
• Departure from Sersi after breakfast: by 09:30 HRS.

• On arrival at Badrinath helipad, the team will escort passengers for darshan.
• Approximate time for Badrinath Temple darshan: 1 to 1.5 hours.
• Passengers will be transported to the temple by car.
• After darshan, passengers will return to Badrinath helipad for their flight to Sersi, scheduled for 11:30 HRS.
• Estimated time of arrival at Sersi Heli-Base: 12:00 HRS.
• Upon arrival at Sersi, the team will be present to receive the passengers.
